Name: Amanda "Polaris" James
Identity: The Polaris Patriot

Polaris was born on July 25, 1784. She was raised on a small farm in Virgina and lived a pretty normal childhood. Until one night, while stargazing at a nearby lake, she witnessed a bright light come crashing down to earth. Overcome with curiosity, she ran after to explore it. When she got near she was so overcome by the light she couldn't see anything. She stumbled forward and tripped over a rock, falling down into the crator. She laid there unconscious for hours. While there her body obsorbed the energy around her, changing her molecular structure completely. When she awoke the light was gone. And so began the story of The Polaris Patriot, America's greatest hero and brightest star.

Abilities:
Polaris has the ability to produce a blinding light energy from her entire body. Easiest places to focus her energy from is her hands and eyes.
Polaris can also travel at light speed, though it drains her very quickly.
Polaris has the ability to make the light around her so dense that it can soften the blow of anything coming at her. Combined with extremely quick movements she is able to get away from most attacks.
Polaris has never shown a sign of any aging after acquiring her powers, it is believed that she is now immortal( she may still be able to be killed in battle.)
